Message From Justin Adams ~ Director

The Monache Marauder Band proudly celebrated forty years of musical excellence and achievement of marching, music and memories in May 2009.

Over the past 42 years the band has received numerous honors, including 37 Superior ratings for concert performances in the California Music Educators Association, 24-time Grand Champions of the Selma Marching Band Festival, 2006 Atlanta Georgia Chick-fil-A Bowl Champions (Halftime and Parade Competitions), numerous California tour appearances and proud representatives of Porterville during engagements in Scotland, New York City, Florida, Hawaii, Washington D.C., and Atlanta, Georgia.

The 2010 Monache Band Golf Tournament scheduled for Saturday, April 2, 2011 at River Island Country Club is a great opportunity for alumni to help support the Marauder Band.  Entry fees are $100 per person or $400 per team of four (4).  The Entry Form and additional information can be found on the Fund Raising page of this website.

Our goal is to raise $7,000 for the purchase of a new utility trailer to transport equipment and our new band uniforms. Donations are most welcomed!!
